Korabljica

In the last years of his life, Kačić published one more work in Croatian language which was also intended for our more ordinary world; he titled it as follows: Korabljica – approx. The small boat that carries the Holy Bible and the main world events throughout the centuries, divided in two chapters. One starts with the beginning of the world to the birth of Christ, whilst the other begins with the birth of Christ until the year 1760. Compiled and translated from Latin and Italian books and from the Chronicle of Pavao Vitezović into the Bosnian language. . .

The entire work is written in the Croatian Shtokavian-Ikavian prose, with the exception of two documents in Latin and six ten-syllable verses.
